Initial Assessment: The program begins with an initial assessment conducted by Dr. Brandan to evaluate the individual’s suitability for at-home ketamine therapy. This assessment typically involves a comprehensive medical history review. LCSW Solomon Richberg will conduct a psychological evaluation and discuss treatment goals and expectations.
Preparation and Education: Prior to starting the at-home ketamine program, the individual receives thorough preparation and education to ensure a safe and comfortable treatment experience. This includes information about ketamine therapy, potential benefits and risks.
Customized Treatment Plan: Based on the individual’s assessment and specific needs, a customized treatment plan is developed. This plan includes details such as the appropriate dosage, frequency, and duration. How to prepare for the treatment and how to stay safe.
Supervised Treatment Sessions: During the at-home ketamine sessions, the individual self-administers the ketamine following the prescribed guidelines provided. Depending on the program, remote supervision and monitoring may be conducted via telemedicine technology or periodic check-ins with the healthcare team.
Integration and Aftercare: With each session, the individual receives guidance on integrating the experiences and insights gained during the therapy into their daily life. We may provide recommendations for ongoing therapy, lifestyle modifications, or other supportive measures to optimize the long-term benefits of the treatment.
