Each IV bag is personalized according to the patient’s needs. Intravenous solutions can contain saline, vitamins, minerals and medications. Most commonly, IVs contain:

  • Saline – Saline solution is the base ingredient of an IV bag. This solution made up of salt in water, is great for rehydration purposes and hangovers.
  • Vitamins – Vitamins in an IV bag can give us a boost of energy, improve our immune system, and strengthen our overall health. Commonly used vitamins are Vitamin B and Vitamin C.
